Aker BP ASA engages in the exploration, development and production activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Its development projects include Ivar Aasen, Gina Krog, Johan Sverdrup, Viper-Kobra and oda. The Ivar Aasen field is situated west of Johan Sverdrup in the Utsira High area, and is estimated to contain gross reserves (P50/2P) of 199 million barrels of oil equivalent.
