Sempra Energy is an energy-service holding company, whose operating units invests in, developing and operating energy infrastructure, and provide gas and electricity services to their customers in North and South America. It operates through the following segments: San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E), Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra South American Utilities, Sempra Mexico, Sempra Renewables, and Sempra Natural Gas.
