Number of employees at Pemex 2005-2017

The data presents the number of employees at Petróleos Mexicanos, commonly known as Pemex, from 2005 to 2017. Pemex is the state-owned Mexican petroleum company, and has exclusive rights over oil production there. In 2017, Pemex had over 125 thousand employees, including their PMI Group employees. In recent years, Pemex accidents have caused many employee deaths.
