Gender distribution per pay quartile at Santander bank plc 2018

The data displays the distribution of women and men employed by Santander bank plc per pay quartile in the UK as of February 2018. What can be seen by the figures presented is that women make up a far higher percentage of employees at the lowest pay quartiles (fourth quartile 62.9 percent, third quartile 71.1%). Although women make up almost two thirds of lowest paid employees they make up just over than one third (35%) of those in the upper quartile.
