The data displays the share of individuals using internet banking in the Netherlands from 2012 to 2017, by age group. In 2017, 98 per cent of Dutch individuals between 18 and 25 years used internet banking for private use. In comparison, 43% of people with an age of 75 years or older used internet banking in 2017. Between 2012 and 2015, the use of internet banking in the Netherlands increased in all age groups. The share of people who use mobile banking in the Netherlands reached a percentage of 65% in 2016, compared to 53% in Luxembourg and 51% in Belgium.
