The data depicts the distribution of residential real estate investments in Germany as of the first half of 2018, by buyer group. According to a report conducted by BNP Paribas, in the first half of 2018, just under 44% of residential real estate investments in Germany came from listed real estate companies or real estate investment trusts (REITs). Property firms in the same time period made up for 7.8% of residential real estate investments.
