The data shows the number of financial companies trading on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) from January 2018 to May 2018. It can be seen that the number of financial companies trading on the LSE generally increased with some fluctuation during the period observed. In January 2018 the number of companies amounted to 707, by February 2018 this had fallen slightly to a period low of 702 companies. However by May 2018 the number of financial companies trading on the London stock exchange had increased to 736, the highest number recorded during this five month time frame.
