Number of investment fund units in Luxembourg 2006-2017

The data displays the total number of investment funds in Luxembourg from 2006 to 2017 (in units). At the end of 2017, there were 14,728 fund units, an increase of approx. 200 fund units when compared to the previous year.

Luxembourg's fund industry is considered to be one of the biggest in Europe. In 2016, for example, the total value of investments in private equity companies in Luxembourg amounted to approx. 465 million euro.
