Credit Agricole (France) and CNP Assurances (France) finished the leading three insurance groups in France with market shares of 10.3 and 9.6% respectively. The only non-French insurance group to be in the top five in France was the German group Allianz with 7.8% of the market. Combined, the leading five insurance groups had a total market share of 46.
