The data depicts the average weekly household expenditure on insurance products and lines in households where the reference person was at the minimum 50 years of age and older in the UK as of year end 2017. Respondents in the age group of 50 to 64 spent on average 6.1 GBP weekly on household insurances (structural, contents and appliances) and an average of 11.6 GBP on vehicle (including boat) insurances at that time.
