Expectations of social renters with buying a first home in England 2006/07-2015/16

The data shows the number of social renters that expect to buy a first time home against those that do not expect to buy in England between 2006/07 to 2015/16. The graph in general fluctuates year on year with those in social housing who expect to buy a first time home at some point. As of 2006/07 over 1 million social renters expected to buy a home compared with over 2.7 million that did not expect to buy a home at any point.
