Average age of recent first time home buyers in England 2005/06-2016/2017

The data shows the average age of recent first time home buyers in England inside London and outside London from 2005/2006 to 2016/2017. The average age of first time buyers has stayed fairly consistent from 2005/06 and 2015/16. As of 2016/2017 the average age of a first time buyer in London increased to over 34 with those living outside London also increasing to 33.1 years old on average.
