The data illustrates the perceived difficulty of obtaining a mortgage for first-time buyers in the UK according to parents of 20 to 45 years olds surveyed in 2012 and 2015. It appears that there was little change over the years, with a majority (98% in 2012 and 94% in 2015) of respondents believing it is hard to virtually impossible for first-time buyers to get a mortgage.
