The data displays the distribution of home care agency facilities in the U.S. by type in 2015. In this year, 1.1% of home care facilities were nursing home based. Among Americans over the age of 65, almost 70% will require long-term care. As the U.S. senior population grows, there will be increased pressure from the quantity and quality of long-term health care facilities.
