The data displays the percentage of those who served and served not in the United States military who reported being told by a health professional that they had some form of cancer, as of 2013-2014, by age. It was found that 48.2% of those aged 80 years or older who had served in the military reported being diagnosed with some form of cancer, compared to 34.1% of those in the same age group who had not served.
