Percentage of daily smokers in Turkey 2016, by age and gender

The data shows the percentage of individuals who smoke on a daily basis in Turkey in 2016, split up by age and gender. The age group 35 to 44 years is the demographic with the highest proportion of daily smokers, with just over half of men aged in this range smoking on a daily basis. In all of the age groupings smoking is more prevalent among men compared to women.
