The data displays the principle applications for telemedicine in U.S. emergency departments, according to a survey conducted among hospital and health system representatives during February 2016. It was found that 79% of organizations have deployed telemedicine or plan to within three years use telemedicine, or will use telemedicine, principally for specialty neuro/stroke consults.
