The data shows the percentage of persons in the United States who had current, binge, and heavy alcohol use in the past month among persons aged 12 or older in the U.S., by age group, in 2016. During this year, 10.5% of persons between 26 and 29 year olds claimed to have heavy alcohol use. Heavy use refers to five or more drinks on the same occasion on each of five or more days in the last 30 days.
