The data shows the percentage of persons in the United States aged 12 or older who had current, binge, and heavy alcohol use in the past month, by ethnicity, in 2016. In that year, 4.1% of persons with a Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander ethnicity claimed to have heavy alcohol use. Heavy use refers to five or more drinks on the same occasion on each of five or more days in the last 30 days.
