The data shows the prevalence of doctor-diagnosed arthritis in the adult population in the U.S. from 2013 to 2015, adjusted for age, by heart disease diagnosis. From 2013 to 2015 19.1% of the survey respondents without heart disease indicated that they had a doctor-diagnosed form of arthritis; while 36.4% of those with heart disease had been diagnosed with arthritis. Arthritis is a leading cause of disability and a common chronic condition in the U.S.
