The data displays the rate of registrations of newly diagnosed cases of cancer per 100,000 population in England in 2016, by age group and gender. In this year the age group most affected by cancer was the group aged between 85 and 89 years. The cancer cases rate among men was 3,365 per 100,000 population and among women was 2,141 per 100,000 population. It should of course be noted that age is not indicative of susceptibility to cancer.
