The data shows the projected number of people in Canada that will die from some form of cancer due to sugar sweetened beverage and sugary drink consumption from 2016 to 2041. According to the data, it is estimated that there will be 4,605 new breast cancer deaths attributable to sugary drink consumption and an estimated 2,589 new breast cancer deaths attributable to sugar sweetened beverage consumption in Canada.
