Oil - global production in barrels per day 1998-2017

The data displays the global oil production between 1998 and 2017. Worldwide, around 92.6 million barrels of oil were produced daily in 2017. According to the source, oil production includes crude oil, shale oil, oil sands and NGLs (the liquid content of natural gas, where this is recovered separately). Excludes liquid fuels from other sources such as biomass and coal derivatives.
