The data displays the projected demand for oil by world region in 2017 and 2018. For 2017, a total global demand of 97.7 million barrels of oil per day was estimated. Of that amount, almost one third goes to the Asian-Pacific and the Americas regions, respectively. For 2018, a total global demand of some 99.1 million barrels per day was predicted.
