In this year the European country with the leading number of individuals in substitution treatment for opioid addiction was France with 169,750 individuals. This was followed by the UK with 138,422 individuals in substitution treatment. The country with the lowest number of individuals in substitution treatment was Cyprus at 229 individuals.
