The data shows information about the number of individuals participating in alcohol abuse treatment programs in rehabilitation centers in Italy from 2010 to 2016. It can be observed that the number of individuals seeking professional help to recover from alcohol addiction experienced a general increase during the period under observation. Indeed, as of 2010, around 45 thousand people participated in alcohol abuse treatment programs, whereas their number reached approx. 71 thousand individuals by the end of 2016.
