As of November 4, 2015, there have been 378 cases among health care workers in Liberia, resulting in 192 deaths. The Ebola virus causes extremely severe hemorrhagic fever and is considered a Risk Group 4 Pathogen by the World Health Organization (WHO). The health sector will focus on cross-border regions to strengthen treatment, testing, and contact tracing.
