The data shows the percentage of U.S. women aged 21 to 65 who had received a cervical cancer screening within recommended time frames, by ethnicity. About 83.7% of Non-Hispanic respondents reported that they had received a cervical cancer screening, while 77% of Mexican respondents reported that they had received a cervical cancer screening. According to the CDC, screening recommendations for women of average-risk are every three years for those age 21-29 or every three to five years for those aged 30 to 65, depending on type of testing preformed.
