Number of Zika virus cases in the United States from 2015 to 2017

This table shows the number of Zika virus disease cases in the United States from 2015 to 2017. In 2016, there were over 5,000 cases of the Zika virus in the United States However, this number decreased to just over 400 in 2017. The World Health Organization announced an end to the Zika virus epidemic that spread from Brazil to other parts of South and North America in November 2016.
