The data displays the results of a survey among U.S. American high school students in grades 9 to 12 on obesity, by gender and ethnicity. The survey was conducted from September 2016 to December 2017 in schools with students in at least one of grades 9–12, in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Over 22% of male student respondents with a Hispanic background stated they were obese.
