Youth by gender who wouldn't seek sexual health services due to parents 2013-2015

The data shows the percentage of sexually experienced young Americans who would not seek sexual health services because parents might find out in 2013-2015, by gender. About 13.5% of females that were surveyed said that they would not seek sexual health services, while 12% of male respondents indicated they would not seek services. Confidentiality concerns are a common reason why youth chose not to seek care for sexual or reproductive health services.
