Distribution of global natural rubber production by region 2017

The data displays the distribution of the production of natural rubber worldwide in 2017, by region. In that year, some 91% of all of the natural rubber produced in the world was produced in the Asia Pacific region. In spite of the fact that the natural rubber tree is native to South America, less than 3% of the global natural rubber production took place in all of North, Central, and South America as of 2017.
