The data displays the average monthly rent of dwellings in selected cities in Belgium and the Netherlands in 2016 (in euros per square meters). In 2016, a rental dwelling in Amsterdam had an average monthly rent of approx. 16 euros per square meter.

In the second quarter of 2017, the average housing rent in the Netherlands increased to reach a value of 14,85 euros per square meter whilst the average rent in the city of Amsterdam reached a value of approx. 22 euros per square meter.
