The data shows the number of ballot papers that were counted after the EU referendum in the UK on June 23rd 2016, by region. There were 4,963,110 counted ballot papers in the South East of England, more than any other region in the United Kingdom. This is 1,181,906 more than the number of papers counted in London, which featured the second highest amount. Northern Ireland had the fewest, with 790,523 counted papers.
