Number of new breweries founded in the Netherlands 2008-2018

The data shows the number of new breweries founded in the Netherlands from 2008 to 2018. In 2008, ten new breweries were founded in the Netherlands. In the last few years the pace at which new breweries are established has increased, with the establishment of between 96 and 112 new breweries each year from 2014 onwards. Considering this trend, it is not unlikely that the number of new breweries founded in 2018 will increase beyond 30.
