Number of breweries in the Netherlands 2015, by province and type

The data shows the number of breweries in the Netherlands in 2015, by province and type. In the province Noord-Holland, there were 23 independent breweries, and a further 42 companies without their own brewery, which used the brewery of others to produce beer. With a total of 65 breweries, Noord-Holland was the center of beer brewing in this Netherlands in 2015. On the other hand, the provinces Flevoland and Drenth only had five breweries each.
