The data shows the results of a survey on the share of of company's reasons for not reporting cyberattacks in Italy in 2016. A cyberattack is deliberate exploitation of computer systems, technology-dependent enterprises and networks. Cyberattacks use malicious code to alter computer code, logic or data, resulting in disruptive consequences that can compromise data and lead to cybercrimes, such as information and identity theft. During the survey period, it was found that approx. 43% of the respondents reported that they did not report cyberattacks because they were insignificant.
