The data shows the results of a survey on the distribution of companies by time required to restore ICT systems after cyberattacks in Italy in 2016. A cyberattack is deliberate exploitation of computer systems, technology-dependent enterprises and networks. Cyberattacks use malicious code to alter computer code, logic or data, resulting in disruptive consequences that can compromise data and lead to cybercrimes, such as information and identity theft. During the survey period, it was found that approx. 44% of the respondents reported that they needed less than one day to reset their ICT systems.
