U.S. social media privacy setting confidence 2017, by age group

How confident are you that the privacy settings selected on your social media account(s) function in the way that you would like?

The data describes the share of internet users in the U.S. who stated they felt confidence about their privacy settings on their social media accounts working as intended. During the August 2017 survey, only 12% of respondents aged 60 years and older felt very confident in navigating and utilizing social media privacy settings. A total of 25% of respondents aged 18 to 29 years felt very confident regarding this issue.
