In 2022, the number of monthly active internet users is projected to reach 91.46 million individuals. This would be an increase of 5.8 million new users from 85.66 million users in 2015. The data was calculated in May 2016 and includes monthly active users of any age who use the internet via any device. Of the 87.55 million users in 2016 about 74.53 million were mobile phone users that accessed the internet.
