The data shows the proportion of male respondents who drank more than eight units in one day in the last week and the proportion of female respondents who consumed more than six units in one day in the last week, in England in 2016, by gender and age. In this period, 23% of men aged between 16 and 24 years old who drank alcohol in the last week consumed more than eight units in one day. In the same period, 19% of women consumed more than six units of alcohol in one day in the last week.
