The data describes the most common types of online harassment experienced by internet users in the U.S., sorted by gender. During the July 2016 survey it was found that 22% of female U.S. internet users had been called offensive names online. Ten% of female internet users have also been sexually harassed online, compared to only 5% of male internet users.
