The data describes the leading news and media publishers on Instagram worldwide as of May 2016 and May 2017, sorted by number of videos posted. According to the findings, the sport publishing company Sports Illustrated saw a drastic increase in its number of video postings to Instagram. In May 2016, they had posted only eight video on the social network, but this was drastically increased to 479 posts in the corresponding month of the following year.
