As of the third quarter of 2016, the Snapchat penetration rate among UK teen internet users was 84%. Since spring 2016 and up to the current survey period, Snapchat ranks as the most popular social network for U.S. teens with 39% of survey respondents claiming it to be their most important social network. During the fourth quarter of 2016, Snapchat reported 158 million daily active users worldwide.
