WhatsApp: usage penetration in selected countries 2017

The data presents the popularity of the mobile messenger app WhatsApp in leading online markets worldwide as of the third quarter of 2017. According to survey data, 65% of the population in Germany were using WhatsApp. In Indonesia, 40% of the population used WhatsApp. Saudi Arabia had the biggest share of its population to be the most active users for Whatsapp, with a reported population share of 73%.
