The data displays the results of a survey carried out in 2006, 2011 and 2016 to find out about the habits of alcoholic beverage consumers in Brazil. Respondents were asked whether they had consumed a certain amount of alcoholic beverages (an intake of four or more doses of alcoholic drinks for women, and five or more doses for men) on a single occasion during the last 30 days. In 2016, 27.3% of male respondents claimed to have drunk five or more doses of alcoholic beverages on a single occasion in the previous month.
