This chart shows racially motivated hate crimes sorted by region in England and Wales from April 2016 to March 2017. While the fewest racially motivated hate crimes were recorded in the East Midlands and Wales, the most by a distance occurred in London, followed by the North West, where little more than half of the number of crimes in London happened.
