Sexual orientation hate crimes in England and Wales 2016-2017, by region

This chart illustrates hate crimes motivated by sexual orientation sorted by region in England and Wales from April 2016 to March 2017. While the fewest hate crimes were recorded in the North East, the most by a distance occurred in London. The subsequent highest figures were found in the North West, which recorded little than half of the number of crimes in London.
