The data depicts the number of criminal damage offences with a racist motivation in Northern Ireland from 2004 to 2017, by year. Figures reached a high point in 2006/2007 followed by a period of decline until 2012/2013, when a minimum of offences was recorded. Thereafter crime rates rose again sharply and steadily, reaching a total of 339 criminal damage offences in 2015/2016.
