Disability hate crimes in England and Wales, by region 2016-2017

This chart shows hate crimes motivated by a person's disability sorted by region in England and Wales from April 2015 to March 2016. While the fewest hate crimes were recorded in the West Midlands, the most by a distance occurred in the East of England and the North West. A striking feature of this statistic is the fairly average number of hate crimes due to disability in London, a region which usually provides high figures of hate crimes and crime in general.
